MQR is a student association at Maastricht University for people interested in quantitative research, development, and finance. We were founded in 2026 by students who wanted a place to do this work seriously, together.
What we're for
Learn together
Sessions, workshops and mentorship on the practical side of quant finance that courses don't cover.
Build things
Members build strategies and tools, test them properly, and get feedback from each other.

We connect members with trading and quant firms through talks, workshops and recruiting events.
